Frequently Asked Questions

Getting started

Where do I find my ImageArts Download Center link?

Use the Download Center link from your ImageArts delivery email.

If you need to find it again, sign in to the IAP Client Portal, open the property, select Download, then choose View Download Center. Copy the full URL from your browser and paste it into the order builder.

What if my Download Center link doesn’t work?

Make sure you copied the complete URL from the Download Center. If the gallery still won’t load, contact us at virtualstaging@imageartspro.com and we’ll help you get it sorted out.

Why don’t I see every file from my Download Center?

The order builder only displays images that can be used for your virtual staging order. Proofs and other files that aren’t needed for staging are filtered out automatically.

Selecting and organizing images

How do I choose which images to stage?

Select the images you’d like staged from the gallery. On the next step, you’ll identify the room shown in each image and tell us which photos belong together.

What if several images show the same room or connected space?

If multiple photos show different angles of the same room, or connected spaces that should share a consistent furniture layout, group them together. This helps us understand which images are related and when furniture placement, styling, and room flow should stay coordinated across multiple views.

What if I grouped an image incorrectly?

You can separate an image from its group and reorganize it at any time before submitting your order.

Staging instructions

How do I tell you what I want the staging to look like?

Choose an overall design style and color direction for the home. You can also enter your own color preferences and add instructions for individual images or for the order as a whole.

What should I put in the notes for an individual image?

Use image-specific notes for anything that applies only to that particular view. For example, you might tell us where you’d like furniture placed, request a particular style of furniture, or request object removal or occupied-to-vacant processing for that image.

What should I put in the overall notes?

Use the overall notes for any direction that should apply across multiple rooms or throughout the home. For example, you might ask us to keep the staging minimal, avoid certain furniture or décor, use a more casual or elevated feel, or follow another preference that applies to the entire order.

Can I ask you to remove existing furniture or décor before staging?

Yes. Occupied-to-Vacant processing can be added when existing furniture or décor needs to be removed before staging. Additional charges may apply.

Signature Virtual Staging

What is Signature Virtual Staging?

Signature Virtual Staging is our premium in-house staging option, with more individualized creative direction and finishing. It’s especially well suited to projects focused on transformation and atmosphere, with up to three coordinated views of a room.

For projects that need extensive multi-angle coverage to communicate layout and flow, our standard virtual staging may be the better fit.

What makes an order a good fit for Signature Virtual Staging?

Signature Virtual Staging is ideal for projects where image quality, atmosphere, and individualized creative direction are the priority. It’s especially well suited when you want to emphasize the character or potential of a room, work from specific inspiration or design direction, or complement existing furnished spaces.

Signature Virtual Staging can coordinate up to three views of the same room or connected space. As the number of viewpoints increases, maintaining an exact furniture layout across every angle can limit the quality and realism of the finished staging.

If your priority is showing an unusual layout or open floor plan across many angles so buyers can understand how the spaces connect and flow, our standard virtual staging is usually the better choice.

If your priority is creating a more polished, atmospheric presentation and you need no more than three coordinated views of a space, we recommend Signature Virtual Staging for its higher-quality imagery and more customized approach. Signature Virtual Staging can include any number of individually staged images, with up to three coordinated views of the same room or connected space.

Turnaround and delivery

What is the turnaround time for virtual staging?

Standard virtual staging turnaround is 24-48 hours, Monday-Friday, excluding IAP-observed holidays. Larger or more complex orders may require the full 48 hours.

After you submit your order, your confirmation page will show an estimated delivery date or date range based on your submission time and selected delivery speed.

Can I request a rush?

When available, a Next-Day Rush can be added for $6 per image. Rush availability is shown automatically in the order builder. It may not be offered when weekends, holidays, or production timing would prevent next-day delivery.

How will I receive my virtually staged images?

Your completed images will be uploaded to your IAP Client Portal. We’ll notify you when they’re ready.

How your staging is produced

Is virtual staging handled in-house?

Our standard virtual staging is produced by our virtual staging vendor. We submit your selections and instructions on your behalf, and completed images are returned to us for delivery. If revisions are needed, we’ll submit those requests to the vendor for you.

For projects that benefit from more individualized creative direction, we also offer Signature Virtual Staging, our premium in-house option.

Can I make custom staging requests?

Yes. Use the order builder to give us room-specific instructions, overall direction, color preferences, and other requests.

Our standard staging workflow can accommodate many custom requests. If you’re looking for a more tailored approach with additional creative control, you can also request consideration for Signature Virtual Staging.

Changes, cancellations, and revisions

Can I change or cancel my order after I submit it?

We begin working on virtual staging orders quickly, so there may be only a limited window to make changes or cancel an order.

If you need to make an adjustment, contact us as soon as possible at virtualstaging@imageartspro.com.

Once production has begun, changes or cancellation may no longer be possible.

How do I request revisions? Are they included?

Reply to your delivery notification with your revision request, and we’ll coordinate the changes.

One round of complimentary revisions is included with your order. Additional revision rounds are $5 per image.

We recommend including as much direction as possible with your order. New creative direction or changes in preference after production may require additional charges.

Revision turnaround varies and may take up to 24–48 hours.

Is my virtual staging order refundable?

Virtual staging is created based on the selections and direction provided with your order. As such, completed virtual staging is non-refundable. If we made an error or the finished staging does not follow the direction submitted with your order, we’ll work with you to correct it.

Changes in creative preference or new direction that was not included with the original order may incur additional charges.

Are there any additional fees?
